Logging supply

We ensure 90% of our log supplies, after estimate on foot, with MINFOF (Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife). Logging and skidding are carried out by our forestry contractors. They agree to hire to respect the regulations applicable in the forest. These good forestry practices are part of a sustainable forest management approach supported by the PSFE system, (Forest Environment-Cameroon Sector Program). We mainly buy wood from PSFE certified forests. Our commitment to the PSFE forest certification program shows our willingness to participate in sustainable forest management by offering the sale of PSFE certified wood. After logging in the forest, the logs are brought to the sawmill by our loggers for processing. Our supply area covers the Eastern Region and is carried out in an area 300 km east of the sawmill, mainly in the forests of:

• Batouri
• Dimako
• Doumé
• Abong-bang

The received timber is again rigorously sorted on our log yard according to their qualities, which will determine the final sawing thicknesses.
